Work Experience at Zikkies
At Zikkies, we welcome students into our space for work experience. It’s a chance for them to learn new skills, get hands-on with retail, and understand the importance of giving back to the community. By working with us, they are able to gain real-world experiences in an Islamic environment that is comfortable and supportive where kindness, generosity and service to others is encouraged as taught to us in Islam.
For us, it’s all about community building—helping young people grow, and showing them how they can make a positive difference while upholding Islamic values. Through this initiative, we’re investing in the future of our community and inspiring the next generation to do the same!
Royal Melbourne Hospital
Zikkies donates clothes to the emergency department of The Royal Melbourne Hospital, ensuring homeless individuals who come in for assistance and treatment have access to clean, comfortable clothing. Through this initiative we aim to provide dignity and support during their time of need.
Brothers in Need
Zikkies proudly donates and provides clothes to the Brothers In Need - Homeless Outreach Program in Melbourne every month. By collaborating with other organizations, we ensure that essential items reach those who need it most, helping to support and uplift our community.
