Retail Assistant (Part-time)

Location: VIC
Hours: 15-20 hours per week (Mon-Sat)

About the Role

This role is suited to someone who wants to be part of a community initiative guided by Islamic values. As a Retail Assistant, you contribute beyond daily tasks by supporting the team, fostering a positive environment and strengthening our community impact. This role calls for reliability, ownership and a genuine commitment to purpose-led service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, respectful customer service and assist with enquiries and purchases.

  • Sort, price, tag and restock donated items.

  • Maintain an organised, clean and visually appealing store environment.

  • Support daily store operations, including POS transactions and basic inventory handling.

  • Reliable, proactive and takes pride in their work.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Organised, adaptable and able to work both independently and in a team.
